The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The renowned game designer passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.
