The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

This young athlete boasts impressive social media presence

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile backers as she begins her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses numerous golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply stay calm."

"He essentially suggested to compete and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player in the world," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to play, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to new audiences, specifically among younger fans.

The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
