JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an original movie. Rather, the latest movie from the JuJutsu Kaisen supernatural series acts as a recap of the anime's second season combined with the opening installments of its next season, which begins the Culling Games storyline from the manga series. This positions Execution, which has been given a latest teaser, the first way to see the commencement of the forthcoming season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The film debuts in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

People anxiously checked to see if the home release, released on March 18, would add any additional scenes to the sequence or to see if it was polished at all, and were elated to see precisely that, alongside tone adjustments, enhanced animation, and different color grading.
